Updated: 25 August 2026
These dates apply to applicants seeking university entry in autumn 2027. LNAT deadlines vary between universities and courses, so do not rely on a single general deadline.
Book your test as early as reasonably possible. Test-centre appointments can become limited near popular deadlines.
This page is an independent summary, not an official calendar. You are responsible for checking the current requirements of the LNAT service, UCAS and every university to which you apply.

Other LNAT-university applicants

Courses and requirements can differ. Check the relevant universityโs own admissions page before relying on these dates.
Results and late applications
Candidates who take the LNAT on or before 26 January are normally emailed their results in mid-February. Candidates who take it after 26 January are normally emailed their results in mid-August. The LNAT service does not provide exact result-release dates.
The official schedule also lists later testing arrangements, usually relevant to some international applicants. Universities are not required to consider late applications, and some will not accept an LNAT result taken late.
For a late application, contact every relevant university before booking a test. The current LNAT schedule lists 25 July 2027 as the final booking date and 31 July 2027 as the final testing date, but these dates do not guarantee that a university will consider the application.
